STYLE|| TURBAN AND ART

Hello to you! I get really excited every time I type a blog post, so I’m like sitting on my bed or in class waiting for my lecturer and just smiling because I’m typing a blog post. That’s the joy you get when you’re doing something that makes you feel fulfilled. Well well I hope the weekend went well. I’m back to boots, jumper and helmet because I’m in school for an engineering program. So yeah I’m living the engineer’s life, making daddy proud.

So today’s look is very basic but I’m really crazy about the location. I was driving around town with my sister, trying to find a place to take the pictures and she suggested Ibadan Cultural center. Funny how I have spent 17 years in Ibadan and I have never been here.
I got to go around and take pictures. Sadly I couldn’t get in to see more but the outside alone speaks beauty. I have a thing for the Yoruba culture from their ceremonies, the weddings and their dressing, so being here was a bit exciting.

What I’m wearing

Shirt- F&F

Jeans- g21

Shoe- Newlook

Turban- DIY

My turban happens to be the best part of my outfit, I feel it goes with the location. No doubt the turban is a nice way to add some African spice to an outfit. I really like the way the African culture is making wave on the globe and I’m proud to be part of this great continent. Okay! I’m sounding very patriotic right now lol. I would also love to visit a place like this in eastern Nigeria and see them Igbo Ukwu art (see who paid attention in visual art class)

So loves, thanks again for reading. Pls do subscribe so you don’t miss out on new content coming up. Have an amazing week, ensure you put your best into what you have and just like the guy that had the 5 talents it will multiply. Also remember ‘a seed doesn’t yield fruit in a day’ be patient and consistent your harvest is soon. Till next blog post…
