Yes yes. I know what you’re thinking. What does mum Jeans have to do with scrap lol. As a lover of style and an aspiring public speaker, I have learnt to draw inspiration from my surroundings. Now let’s gist a little but first, How was the weekend and how is the week going? Great I believe.

So last week, I was privileged to learn a lot in mechanical engineering from machine to welding to automobile. It was an amazing experience for me and you can be sure I learnt from it. We dealt with a lot of scrap, I mean rusty metals and in the midst of my work I got inspiration for this blog post.

This day we made a key from a dead rusty metal and I was amazed by the works of my hands ( okay, my group members helped). One lesson I took away is that there is so much you can do with scrap. Now let me bring it down to life. There is so much you can do with your current situation that may seem messy. The solution you’re seeking for is the scrap that you’re in just change your perspective. If you see just scrap, you will get just scrap. I was able to see that scrap as a raw material not trash. See your current situation as a raw material to build something, to build a better you.

 

Someone said to me last week “poverty is very creative”. You see!! He didn’t go lamenting his situation to every Tom, Dick and Harry, instead he took charge and made something out of where he was. Friends, all you need to turn your scrap into a finished product lies within you by the grace of God.

Now to the Jeans, I’m just happy I got a pair of mum jeans that fits well and peep my cute bag. I made it myself. You see! turning abandoned material into a bag. There is a lot you can do people. Be creative. You can be sure that the green keke was my favorite thing in this scrap yard.
