LIFESTYLE|| LESSONS I LEARNT IN MY 2ND YEAR

Hello you!! How are we doing today? I feel really good typing this, because it’s a pretty exciting post. So I recently finished my second year in university and my second year was really amazing, demanding, long but one thing my second year taught me was lessons. I learnt lessons from my experience, experience of other people, chapel service, meetings, classes, the books I read and my personal time with God. I strongly believe that one of the reasons why we learn lessons is so that we can share with others and that’s what I’m doing on this blog post. So let’s begin…

  • You are completely responsible for the outcome of your life. Nope it’s not your parent’s responsibility, your friends, your family, it’s all yours.
  • Not everyone will agree with your opinion and that’s fine. You can’t please everyone, you just can’t.

  • You don’t experience life, you experience your interpretation of life. This is pretty simple. Now two people can fail at the same time and the first person says this life is bad!! And the other can say this is a sign that I have to be better next time. It’s all about the mindset.
  • Comparing yourself has and will NEVER make you better. This was one lesson that was hard for me to learn, I was so stubborn about it but now I’ve learnt. I know a lot of people especially women are dealing with this comparing issue, it doesn’t help at all. We are all different and beautiful.

  • If you see and say it, it will be. So I had this programming course this semester and oh I didn’t like this course at all. Going for the class was like going for a funeral. As the exams came closer, I realized I had to pass the course and my tests weren’t looking good. So I took a pen and wrote in in front of my reading notebook “I LOVE PROGRAMMING” I kept on repeating this every day and was looking at it. The exams came and it was pretty good. So see it. Say it. Experience it.
  • A word from God will take you farther than just a positive mind can. Remember He is always willing to speak.
  • You don’t have to be loud to lead.

  • When you fall pick yourself but also pick a lesson or else you will fall again.
  • Imitation is limitation. Don’t copy just get inspiration

So guys there you have it. The lessons I learnt, I hope you can learn from them. If you follow me on twitter I’m sure these lessons aren’t new to you because I do tweet them. Pls share the lessons you’ve learnt over a period of time, I would really love read them and learn from them. Thanks so much for reading. Till next blog post…
